We want to hear from you: suggestions, problems, opportunities. The plan on screen comes with it, so you need not describe it.
This is a design tool, not an engineer. Nothing here is an engineered design or a permitted drawing; no professional has reviewed your building. Codes, permits, setbacks and snow, wind and seismic loads are local questions: take your plans to your building department before you cut a board.
The framing follows common practice and the cited code tables for small outbuildings in ordinary conditions. Long spans, heavy snow, tall walls, or anything a person will live or sleep in deserves a licensed professional. Quantities and prices are estimates: verify measurements against your site and your lumber, and prices against your yard. You build at your own risk, with no warranty of any kind.
